Twilight Wedding: Luxe for Less

Lina and I wanted to come up with Luxe for Less Look. There are so many inspriations out there and if given an unlimited budget could be pulled of for a wedding of 150, but in reality, we don't all have that luxury.

To get a similar, Twilight, look without breaking the bank, we used a traditional round table which most venues carry. We covered it with a camel color poly cotton linen.

We used solid white china and clear glassware and traditional silverware.

For the chairs we used an antique finish wooden folding chair to still give it that outdoorsy whimsical feel.

Instead of 2 candelabras we used one to achieve a similar look surrounded by some of the smaller and less expensive arrangements.

For Edward and Bella's chairs we used a simple glass vessel with an opened white rosehead.

Vendor Pick: Flower Wild

Words can't really describe how gorgeous, whimsical, and ethereal Flower Wild's work is.

Honestly, every arrangement looks so effortless and it looks as if all of the flowers have been picked from a luscious backyard full of peonies, garden roses, and ranunculus.

I'm going to just let the flowers speak for themselves.

Twilight Wedding: Part 2

For the escort cards we had Calligraphy Katrina write the guests name & table name on miniature green apples.

This amazing cake was created by Melody of Sweet and Saucy. It looks good enough to eat.

This is an easy DIY project, creating candle holders out of apples.

We used the awesome apple that Melody spray painted silver for this awesome shot.

The bouquet was made of peonies, roses, lisianthus, dusty miller, and blue porum.

It was tied off with white ribbon with a quote inscribed on it that any Twilight fan should recognize.

And what better to serve in cold weather but hot apple cider.

And for the favors we had some fun...

Miniature trees as a "green" favor.

And to be cute we had buttons made.

And to help keep warm these pashminas in green, brown & white.

The invitation & all the paper goodies were created by Calligraphy Katrina.

For the ceremony we did a simple design with floating roses and crystals and rose petals on the ground.

And it's always great to incorporate photos from a true love story, for all of your guests to enjoy.

Twilight Wedding: Part 1

After several months in the making, here is my first ever tablescape.

I worked with fellow associate and friend, Lina Wallace of A Stunning Affair on this design.

We wanted to do something special since it would be our first so we decided early on that we would do A Twilight Wedding.

We didn't want to do a bloody gothic vampire design. After all, Bella & Edward's wedding, according to the fourth book, was nothing like that.

So we envisioned this wedding as if Bella & Edward were getting married the way they did in the book.

We assembled an amazing team to work with us including Meg Perotti Photography, Sweet and Saucy, Calligraphy Katrina, and Classic Party Rentals.

We used all white flowers: Hydrangea, Roses, Lisianthus with some green accents: Dusty Miller, Succulents, and green apples.

These adorable Salt & Pepper shakers in the shape of birds on a perch are from Pottery Barn.

We also cored out the green apples to serve as our tealight holders.

Our table runner was made of all white lace.

We chose to name the table "First Sight" because of the title of the first chapter of the first book in the Twilight Series.

We added a little something to Bella & Edwards chairs to make them stand apart.

We also added a little bling to the napkin treatments. Stay tuned for Part 2.
