Downtown on Ice

If you dream of ice skating around Rockefeller Center at Christmas in New York City, but live in L.A., you're in luck. Every Christmas in Pershing Square (Downtown L.A.) they create the Rockefeller Center of the West during the holiday season. It begins this year on December 15 and continues through January 21, 2008. www.laparks.org

Fri/Sat/Sun 10:00a.m. - 10:00p.m.

One hour session: $6
Skate rental: $2

Parking is $4-6 with validation, or you can take the Metro Rail and get a day pass for $5 and save the gas. Take the Gold Line from Pasadena takes you to Union Station and then you get on the Red Line or Purple Line to Pershing Square and you're there. www.metro.net
